It is so weird, my earned point rewards have 4900 points (equal to $49.00 USD) and I tried to cash out but for some reason it just kept saying Paypal verification failed and I can not cash out on the same paypal account that I had used to cash out before; then a couple of days later some points disappeared just like that and my points just kept shrinking. I called Surveyspot office and left a message more than 3 weeks ago but till today no one had contacted me nor was any resolutions made. What is going on with Surveyspot? First, trying to terminating users' account for no reason and then all the sudden rewards would not shown up and now we have earned rewards all the sudden disappeared into thin air then users can not cash out the hard earned points. Please get your act together. This is just no way to do business, collect money from all the companies that issued the surveys but not paying it's due to it's members who are the foundations of it's company.

Yes, they have been having issues for a while now, but it looks like they are closed to having them resolved. Check out their Facebook page for more details.

You guys are not alone. I had the same "error" message for three weeks. Finally after I called, they responded and said that I violated their "terms and conditions." Confident that I had not, I emailed them to request what I violated (I did not). A few days later, I was getting surveys again but only a couple of surveys had been credited.

This was all since February, so I think they are having some serious operational problems.

Another troubling concern is the following message that has been posted for more than a week under the Rewards Claim section:

Rewards Claim

The rewards claim is temporarily unavailable as we are undergoing system maintenance.
Thank you for your patience.

I too had lots of problems with Surveyspot. I had been taking surveys with them for many years but for some reason I couldn't log into my account and when I emailed the member service for help no one responded after more than 2 weeks. So I call their parent company and left a message for Susan who apparently handles Surveyspot accounts and all the sudden within couple hours I got an return email from memberservice responded to my question for help and it indicated that my account has been terminated without giving any reason! I am a law binding citizen with job that requires background check from the FBI and have been cleared numerous time and I require an answer as to why my account was terminated. I called again and left Susan at Surveyspot another message and still waiting for a reply.

I too have seen a lot of problems lately.

1) Invalid addresses in the e-mail invite for the start links
2) "open surveys" on the site that are closed when you hit the start button
3) disqualification from survey after answering 1 question and being told "Although more of our members responded than we expected and we've received all the interviews we need for this research study"
4) e-mails to Support not being answered.
5) Harder to qualify for surveys that award cash or points than before.

Just overall.....this site has become a general frustration over the past year or so.

Steve,

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with the site. I do not believe that we state anywhere that your points are awarded immediately after completing a survey. If you did see that somewhere on this site, please let us know where so that we can correct that. We do our best to keep the details for these panels as up to date as possible.

There policy for cash surveys used to be that it could take four to six weeks for earnings to show in your account. I believe with the new point system is supposed to be a little quicker. They state in their FAQs section points are deposited "usually within a few days" of completing a survey.

Again, sorry to hear that you are having issues, but again all I can suggest is that you try to contact them via the online help form

Hopefully, they will get your issues resolved soon.

I am having problems with Survey spot since they have changed to the points system. Two weeks ago I sent them this complaint. I have followed up several times on this through their website and have yet to hear even though they promise to respond in 72 hours.

“According to your website, points are awarded immediately after a survey is completed. In the past several weeks I have completed the following surveys: #782474 for 300 points on 12/19; #781224 for 100 points on 12/16;#780855 for 700 points on 12/10; #778314 for 200 points on 11/19. As of this date I have not seen any points for any of the above mentioned surveys I have completed being credited to my account. Additionally I have completed the following surveys for cash: #774038 for $3.00 on 11/24; and # 772644 for $2.00 on 10/7. These cash rewards are also not shown as being credited to my account. I also emailed you last week regarding payment on the 10/7 survey. I have yet to hear back. ”

They used to be a dependable website though they were always slower than most in crediting completed surveys. That is why I also keep the invitation email after I complete one so I can keep track. At this point, I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Conneticut because SSI is accredited by them. If enough of us do this, maybe SSI will realize that they have a service problem on their hands. Until my complaint is resolved, however, I refuse to waste my time taking their surveys.
